Sales Assistant

Location: 17&Central, Walthamstow

Contract: Full time and part time positions available

We are opening a new Milano Couture store in 17&Central, Walthamstow next month, with the exact opening date to be confirmed. We are looking for experienced Sales Assistants to join the team from launch.

Working at Milano Couture is customer focused and service led. We do not wait for customers to come to us, we approach them with confidence, offer styling advice and aim to create a memorable shopping experience from the moment they enter the store.

The ideal candidate will have excellent spoken English, strong communication skills and a confident, engaging and approachable personality. This role is suited to someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building rapport and delivering a high standard of service.

Please note, a minimum of 1 year clothing retail experience in the UK is required. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be successful.

Trainee Assistant Manager

Location: Westfield, Shepherd’s Bush

Contract: Part time during training, with the opportunity to progress into a full time Assistant Manager role if successful

Experience: Minimum 2 years UK clothing retail experience required, with previous Supervisor, Team Leader, Floor Supervisor, Department Supervisor or Acting Assistant Manager experience

Availability: Must be fully flexible across weekdays, weekends and peak trading periods

We are looking for a confident and ambitious Trainee Assistant Manager to join our Milano Couture team at Westfield, Shepherd’s Bush.

This is a development role for someone with strong clothing retail experience and proven leadership ability. The role will begin on a part time basis during training, with the opportunity to progress into a full time Assistant Manager position if successful. From there, the aim is to develop the right candidate towards a Store Manager position within approximately 6 to 8 months.

The ideal candidate will be confident leading by example, supporting the Store Manager, motivating the team and helping drive sales, KPIs and store standards. Strong communication, delegation, problem solving and decision making skills are essential.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Supporting daily store operations

· Leading and motivating the team on the shop floor

· Delegating tasks and following up on standards

· Delivering excellent customer service and styling advice

· Helping drive sales, KPIs and store targets

· Supporting stock control, replenishment and visual presentation

· Handling customer queries professionally

· Opening and closing the store when required
